Welcome to First Impressions, I’m Dr. Corey Brimacombe. I grew up in northern Wisconsin in the small town of Tomahawk. After high school, I started my studies at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire before heading to dental school at the University of Minnesota where I graduated in 1998. Family, fresh air and the small town that I grew up in called me back home after dental school. I practiced general dentistry for two years in Tomahawk, it was during this time I discovered how much I enjoyed working with children. With my pregnant wife and our one year old son we made the move back to Minneapolis so I could pursue pediatrics at the University of Minnesota and the Hennepin County Medical Center. I finished residency in 2002 and worked in Minnesota for a year before we made the move back to Wisconsin in 2003. I consider myself fortunate to practice and be part of the growth of central and north central Wisconsin and look forward to practicing here for years to come. When I’m not working with children at the office or in the hospital I stay busy trying to keep up with my wife Heather and our four children Charlie, Ben, Emmy and Brody. |
