Hello and welcome to First Impressions. I’m Dr. C.J. Ott. I was born and raised in Wausau. After high school, I served for four years in the U.S. Navy. I then returned to Wausau and completed my undergraduate at UWMC and dental school at Marquette University graduating in 1976. I started a private general dental practice in Wausau.
In 1983, I began my oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Northwestern University in Chicago and completed the program in 1986. I returned to Wausau and opened a private oral surgery practice, where I worked until 2004. From 2004-2008, I was affiliated with the Marshfield Clinic. I was happy to join the First Impressions dental team in 2010.
