I’ve had connections to the Wausau area all of my life. My mother’s family is from Wausau and we used to visit from Minnesota when I was a child. When I was in college at Drake University, my father made a career change and my family moved to Wausau. Now thanks to First Impressions, my wife, Molly, and daughters Lilly and Claire, and I are happy to be calling Wausau home!
I cannot honestly pinpoint a specific event which led me into dentistry other than the fact that I’ve always liked to help others in need and to fix things. My life’s journey has taken me from Mankato, MN where I grew up, to the mountains of Colorado, the islands of the Pacific Northwest, and to the skyscrapers of Manhattan. I graduated from the State University of New York, Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine in 2008. From Buffalo, Molly and I moved to Pittsburgh, PA for the completion of my specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
My philosophy in treating children’s dental needs boils down to, “What would I do if this were my child?” and “How would I expect my child to be treated?” Of course, decisions are made by both the parent and the provider. I am excited to be a part of such a wonderful practice that allows me to focus on the children’s needs and to live in a community where I can raise my family and pursue my outdoor interests. Life is good!
